Quijotes Mexican Grill

Went first time to get take out. What a wonderful atmosphere. Ordered chili rellenos and they were fantastic! Next time going to eat in and try other items.

Lovely authentic Mexican restaurant. Huge portions packed with flavor. The horchata is house made and has hints of coconut to make it unique and absolutely delicious! The hot green Chile I smothered my barbacoa burrito in was fire! Plenty of spice and flavor. Service was good, food came out fast and waitresses were friendly and attentive.

Truly a hidden gem. We stopped in for dinner before an event at Stargazers and the staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. The food was delicious and we hardly waited at all. Will absolutely be going back for the breakfast burritos!!

Well it was my decision to try a restaurant that my wife and I have never been to. I’ve been wanting to try Quijotes for a while now and was stoked to know that we were headed there for dinner. Upon entering this place, you can see that COVID-19 was limiting its potential. The tables were placed all over the floor and spread out to meet social distancing requirements. If it wasn’t for COVID-19, I can see this place being packed. It has incredible reviews & has their own little stage for performances. This place would be amazing once everything returns back to normal. Before completing our order we received the chips and salsa. My wife loved them because the salsa was very mild and she enjoyed the tangy taste with the crunchy chip. We ordered ground beef nachos to start out and took off a lot of ingredients. This did not disappoint. They gave us a very generous amount of cheese and ground beef that it was more than enough for us to share. If we weren’t so hungry, it would normally be enough to fill us both without any other entrees. Needless to say these nachos were incredible and well worth the calories! My wife enjoyed her breakfast burrito and it was an incredible price at under 4.00 for a breakfast burrito! She thought it was great value for the price. I ordered the Combo Fajitas and I couldn’t have gone wrong. This came with a mix of chicken and steak and huge portions of rice and beans. Their Chicken was the home run. Incredible chicken that tasted homemade. Their steak was pretty good too. Overall 13.50 for both meats in a fajita and the amount of food I received in general was phenomenal value. The staff was very attentive and friendly. You can tell that they put tons of effort to making sure their guests feel at home. We ended up only paying 27 before tax for an chips & salsa (complimentary), an appetizer, and 2 entrees! This place is great on the budget. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Colorado Springs. This might have been my first time here, but it will not be my last!

Great food and the staff is friendly and helpful. You can taste that the food is fresh and homemade. Barbacoa is fantastic! Enchiladas were super yummy! Try the red sauce on the Enchiladas, you won't be disappointed.

This is my go-to for Mexican food, when I'm in Colorado Springs. I tend to get the same thing each time - Three enchiladas combo. I've also had their breakfast burritos and they are amazing and well priced! Over many years, their food has stayed consistently delicious! The margaritas are tasty, as well. The service is quick and friendly, and the prices are some of the best around for the amount of food that you get. Side note: If they say that something is spicy, believe them! I made the mistake of thinking I was a hero ONCE, and went all in. Mistake. Mild works for me!

I had driven by this restaurant numerous times, but never stopped to eat until a friend suggested we grab lunch there. I will be returning. Good food, prices and portion sizes, friendly staff, and draft beer hiding somewhere behind that counter.

*Editted because it's been several years since I was here last* This place is still amazing. I also am adding their current menu because their website is a little outdated on prices. Still ridiculously inexpensive and still delicious food. This is my favorite place to get breakfast. The meat-lovers burrito is delicious, and don't forget to get it smothered with green chili. They also fresh squeeze their juices, so don't skip the OJ. Super inexpensive, great service, and delicious home cooked food.
